Ice cream at the kiosk.
Campsite, lake, mountain, pool: long queues, little space, quick cleaning. That is how we work ourselves, for six seasons now at our kiosk in Pertisau at the Achensee.

In short
For a kiosk with long queues, a powerful soft serve machine fits, ideally water-cooled where it is hot and cramped, plus a slush machine. Pasteurisation saves cleaning and mix. We only recommend what we have experienced at our own kiosk.
- Soft serve
- Nissei or Spaceman, with pump
- Cooling

What matters
- 01QueuesOn busy days, what counts is how many portions per hour the machine manages.
- 02HeatAir-cooled machines lose output in the sun. Water cooling keeps going.
- 03Power and waterWe check beforehand what the site supplies.
- 04CleaningWith pasteurisation you clean less often and lose less mix.

On hot afternoons we had three air-cooled machines running flat out, and they still could not keep up. One water-cooled Nissei solved the problem: under the same conditions it outperformed all three.
Good to know
We are happy to answer further questions by phone. Which enquiries fit us →
Air- or water-cooled?
Where it is hot and cramped, or the sun shines on the machine, we recommend water cooling. We learned that at our own kiosk.
Can I put the machine outside?
Better not in direct sun. We plan a spot with you where it keeps its output and guests can still see it.
Can I rent?
No, we sell machines. Price on request.
